5. MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION
I, the undersigned, hereby apply for admission as a member of the International Combatives Federation (ICF).
I confirm that I have reviewed the ICF:
1. Constitution;
2. Bylaws;
3. Rules and Regulations;
4. Code of Ethics;
5. Rights and Obligations of Members;
6. Recognition and Certification Principles.
I undertake, as an ICF member, to comply with the above documents and to act in accordance with the objectives, principles, and decisions of ICF.

6. APPLICANT DECLARATIONS
The Applicant declares that:
6.1. Truthful Information
All information provided in this application and its attachments is true and accurate.
6.2. Qualifications
I shall not claim ranks, titles, qualifications, or martial arts lineages that I have not legitimately obtained or that I cannot substantiate when reasonably requested.
6.3. Authenticity of Documents
I shall not knowingly submit forged, altered, or misleading documents to ICF.
6.4. Use of ICF Name and Status
I shall not represent myself as an ICF officer, representative, appointed official, or other authorized person unless I have received express authorization from ICF.
6.5. Certificates
I shall not reproduce, modify, redesign, or issue official ICF certificates, documents, seals, or logos without proper authorization.
6.6. Personal Statements
When expressing personal opinions, I shall not present them as official ICF positions unless I have been expressly authorized by ICF to do so.
6.7. Ethical Conduct
I undertake to follow the principles of professional conduct, integrity, respect, safety, transparency, and accountability.
6.8. Martial Arts Lineages
I undertake to respect legitimate martial arts and combatives lineages and shall not knowingly provide false information regarding my technical or organizational lineage.
6.9. Conflict of Interest
I undertake to disclose any material conflict of interest where such conflict may affect my activities on behalf of ICF or an ICF decision-making process.
6.10. Compliance with Law
I undertake to act in accordance with the applicable laws of the country in which I operate as an ICF member.
7. ICF RECOGNITION PRINCIPLE
The Applicant understands and agrees that:
1. ICF respects the independent rank and technical systems of different martial arts and combatives disciplines;
2. ICF does not replace or standardize the existing rank systems of individual disciplines;
3. ICF recognition does not automatically constitute the original issuance of a rank within the respective martial arts discipline;
4. ICF may recognize an existing rank following appropriate review;
5. an Original Rank is a rank issued by the competent authority within the respective martial arts system;
6. a Recognized Rank is an existing rank that has been reviewed and recognized by ICF;
7. Honorary Recognition does not necessarily represent a rank obtained through a technical examination.
8. MEMBER RIGHTS
Subject to the applicable membership category and any specific authorization granted, an ICF member may:
a. participate in ICF activities;
b. attend seminars and official events;
c. apply for recognition of qualifications;
d. apply for appointments or representation positions;
e. use authorized ICF affiliation statements and insignia;
f. participate in committees where appointed or elected;
g. exercise voting rights to the extent provided by the ICF Constitution and Rules.
Membership does not automatically confer authority to issue ICF certificates, appoint ICF representatives, or make official statements on behalf of ICF.
9. MEMBER OBLIGATIONS
The Member undertakes to:
a. comply with the ICF Constitution, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations;
b. provide truthful information to ICF;
c. respect legitimate martial arts lineages;
d. act professionally and ethically;
e. protect the reputation and integrity of ICF;
f. refrain from unauthorized use of ICF documents, logos, titles, and other insignia;
g. comply with lawful decisions of competent ICF bodies;
h. avoid conduct that may seriously damage the reputation or integrity of ICF;
i. refrain from illegal or extremist activities conducted under the name of ICF;
j. avoid abuse of authority or delegated powers.
10. MEMBERSHIP FEES
The Member agrees to pay membership, administrative, and other applicable fees established by ICF in accordance with the current ICF fee schedule.
The Applicant understands that:
1. payment of a membership fee does not guarantee rank recognition;
2. payment of a certification fee does not guarantee recognition;
3. recognition and certification decisions shall be made in accordance with the applicable ICF procedures.
11. RECOGNITION AND CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE
The Applicant agrees that, when reviewing an application for recognition or qualification, ICF may:
a. approve recognition;
b. request additional documentation;
c. recommend an examination;
d. defer the decision;
e. reject the application where sufficient evidence has not been established.
Recognition decisions shall be documented in accordance with ICF procedures.
12. REFUSAL OF MEMBERSHIP
ICF may refuse membership where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the Applicant:
1. has provided materially false information;
2. has falsified qualifications or documents;
3. has been involved in fraudulent activity;
4. has seriously violated martial arts ethics;
5. has acted in a manner seriously inconsistent with the objectives of ICF.
13. DISCIPLINARY MEASURES
ICF may impose measures appropriate to the seriousness of a violation of the Rules or Member obligations, including:
1.Formal warning;
2.Written reprimand;
3.Temporary suspension of membership;
4.Suspension of recognition;
5.Revocation of appointment;
6.Revocation of recognition;
7.Termination of membership;
8.Permanent expulsion.
14. RIGHT TO RESPOND AND APPEAL
Before a serious disciplinary measure is imposed, the Member shall be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to the allegations made against them, except where an immediate temporary measure is necessary to protect the interests of ICF or other members.
A Member subject to disciplinary action shall have the right to appeal in accordance with the ICF appeal procedure.
Where reasonably practicable, an appeal shall be reviewed by an authority or committee that was not responsible for the original decision.
15. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership may terminate:
a. upon the Member's own written request;
b. upon the death of an individual member or dissolution of a legal entity member;
c. upon termination of membership;
d. upon expulsion of the Member;
e. on any other grounds provided by the ICF Constitution or applicable law.
Termination of membership does not give a former Member any right to ICF property.
Following termination of membership, the individual shall cease representing themselves as an ICF member, office holder, or authorized representative to the extent that such right has ended.
16. USE OF ICF NAME, LOGO AND DOCUMENTS
The Member acknowledges that:
International Combatives Federation, ICF, ICF logos, emblems, certificates, seals, and other official identifiers are protected organizational assets of ICF.
Their use is permitted only within the scope of authorization granted by ICF.
The Member shall not independently:
1. modify ICF certificates;
2. redesign official ICF documents;
3. issue ICF certificates;
4. use the ICF logo without authorization;
5. establish an ICF branch without appropriate written authorization;
6. appoint ICF officers without the required authority.
17. PERSONAL DATA AND MEMBERSHIP REGISTER
The Applicant agrees that ICF may process and retain membership-related information submitted by the Applicant to the extent necessary for the administration of membership, recognition, certification, communication, and organizational obligations.
ICF may maintain an official membership register.
Personal data shall be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
18. CONFIRMATION OF ACCESS TO ICF DOCUMENTS
By signing this application, I confirm that I have been given the opportunity to review the following documents:

.ICF Bylaws;
.ICF Rules and Regulations;
.ICF Code of Ethics;
.ICF Membership Terms;
.ICF Recognition and Certification Principles.
I confirm that I understand the contents of these documents and agree to comply with them.
19. APPLICANT CONFIRMATION
I, the undersigned, hereby confirm that:
1. the information provided is true;
2. the documents submitted are authentic;
3. all statements concerning my qualifications and ranks are legitimate;
4. I have not knowingly concealed any circumstances that could affect my admission as an ICF member;
5. I have reviewed the ICF Constitution, Bylaws, Rules and Regulations;
6. I undertake to comply with them as an ICF member;
7. I understand that ICF membership does not automatically authorize me to act as an official representative of ICF;
8. I understand that ICF membership does not automatically authorize me to issue certificates, grant ICF ranks, or appoint ICF officers;
9. I agree that if false information, forged documents, or serious violations are established, ICF may take measures provided for in its Constitution and Rules.
